Written in Blood: A Jack the Ripper Tale is an original musical inspired by the historical events surrounding Jack the Ripper and Victorian-era Whitechapel.
The production contains mature themes, including murder, death, grief, poverty, family conflict, and moments of suspense. Some scenes depict theatrical/staged violence and references to blood and death; however, the production does not contain graphic or realistic depictions of violence or gore.
The show also includes some mild language and suggestive adult references, presented within the context of the story. Stronger themes are balanced with music, humor, friendship, family relationships, and emotional storytelling.
We encourage parents to use their own discretion based on their child's individual maturity and comfort with suspenseful or darker subject matter.
