Bright and inquisitive, he forms an unlikely bond with Jack the Ripper through their shared love of literature and writing, finding in him both a friend and a mentor unaware of Jack’s true nature.

Constable Morris is a sharp, determined, and quick-witted detective on the Whitechapel police force. Haunted by his sister’s unsolved murder, he refuses to let any case under his watch go cold. Driven, intense, and with an addictive streak to his personality, Morris becomes consumed with uncovering the true identity of Jack the Ripper, letting little else distract him from his pursuit of justice.
